It was a very Merry Christmas!
Christmas Time is just about the best time of the year. (My birthday is up there too! haha!) Anyway, we had a great month. It was a bit busy at the start with Ryan studying 24/7 for his finals and me cracking the whip at school getting the kids ready for the Winter Sing by day and decorating the apartment by night. We had a fun winter sweater party with several yummy desserts including cheesecake, peppermint ice cream pie, scotcheroos, apple pie, and somewhat disastrous sugar cookies. (pictured below...can you figure out what shapes were attempted?) Apparently not all sugar cookie recipes are meant to be rolled out!

We went to Walnut Creek for a week and had a lot of fun just sleeping in, hanging out with my family, and just slowing down for a bit. We had a really fun night in SF and saw the Macy's windows, the Union Square X-mas Tree, and a really, really, delicious dinner at a restaurant called Le Colonial. It was French/Vietnamese and was one of the tastiest meals I've had in a LONG time. I highly recommend it for the next time you go to SF.
We also went ice skating in downtown Walnut Creek with Luke, saw Four Christmases with Danny and Heidi, saw Steve and Leah's new baby Carson (VERY cute), and taught my parents a new card game, had a couple movie nights on the couch with my fam, saw some of my high school friends, sung Christmas carols, and, and, and!

I have THE cutest little nephew ever!
There's something about the name Ryan, just produced good looking individuals!
