Spring is DEFINITELY here!
I'm sorry, I have been a bit of a slacker. I have been busy updating Ryan's brother's cancer blog every couple of days. SO, I haven't had the time or the energy to keep mine super up to date. I'm anticipating some time this weekend, so check back on Monday! Here are some pics from Mother's Day weekend. We went to UT to visit Ry's brother and family. He's heading into a pretty rough week, so if you would please keep him in your prayers and/or sign up to fast on his website, we would REALLY appreciate it. His blog is www.brandonplewe.com
Another highlight of Mother's Day was getting to talk to my brother, Max, who is currently serving as a missionary in Seoul, Korea. It was so nice to hear his voice. We did a big conference call. He called my parents, who called me, I called Carly, she called Katie, and then both Katie and I had our husbands on the line with speaker phone! You gotta love technology and three-way calling! He is doing well. I think he's a bit lonely, but that is to be expected when you're off someplace where there is literally nothing familiar and a language barrier, like Korean, that is so hard to overcome. He loves the area he is serving in. It's out in the country with just a little branch of members. I can't believe how much he has grown and learned over the past months. It truly is amazing. I love hearing, in his weekly emails, all about his adventures and how much his testimony of the Gospel is growing.
Anyway, that's the latest with me. You can see in the pictures that I darkened my hair again. I think next time I'll start going back to blonde. I like it, but it feels a bit too serious for me!

Oh, and of course another highlight was seeing my little nephew! What a cutie! We went to lunch and he was sure that the birds we saw were ducks as he emphatically wanted to chase them a called after them, "Du, du, du, du.....!" I wish I could see him more! Thanks, Katie, for making the drive to SLC so I could see him.

Ryan's brother is definitely in our prayers. Glad you are doing well and that you got to see some family. Look forward to you blogging again!
Glad to see an update and how nice to spend Mother's Day with Ryan's family. (I got your message by the way, and of course I completely understand that it was too hard to meet up! Maybe in NY someday :) ) Oh, and ps...I have that green shirt too!
That is great you got to go to Utah for Mother's day and spend time with Ryan's family. You have been doing a great job on Brandon's website and I'm keeping him and your family in our prayers.
Good to see you so much this month. Love the pic of Ryan on your head. You may want to mention that I did have pants on my child in public, but they got wet. :)
How can you say your dark hair makes you so serious when I just think it makes you look even more fun and uber sexy :) Ryan must love it!
And Ryan's brother is in our prayers Laurel. What a good good person you are to be helping so much. Love you.
