Apparently I'm doing my blog entries according to important weekends. Friday night we went to Disneyland together for the first time, it wasn't necessarily FOR Father's Day, it just worked out that way. We have been wanting to go since we were dating, but just never got around to it. But, last weekend, Heidi and Danny came into town and had some extra days on their passes, so we reaped the benefits and got to go for free! We had a great time at the happiest place on earth. There is just something about Disneyland that naturally brings a smile to your face. What might bring a smile to your face is to take note of my camera attached to my belt loop! Awesome, right? haha! (I didn't want to carry my purse)
One of the Disneyland traditions that my family has always done is to go to the Mad Hatter shop and try on hats and take a picture in your favorite hat. Can you guess which ride we were on in the above picture. Hint: There is a large white monster in it!
Ryan's favorite ride, Splash Mountain, was great as usual. Good thing it was the last ride of the night because Ryan got SOAKED! It was hilarious. I got wet too, but not like Ryan.
As a side note...Heidi and Danny, it was so fun to see you guys and have you stay with us. Hopefully others will follow in your footsteps. Your boys are so much fun and of course, it's just always nice to have old friends visit. Hopefully your stay in our little apartment didn't cramp your style. You are welcome to come back anytime. Thanks for the tickets, as you can see, we had a great time!

It was a fun weekend for us in LA. Thanks for hosting us. I know you like that hat shop at Dizzyland. So I guess we'll see some cool pics from the other hemisphere, eh?
