...Why My Husband is Awesome!

This past weekend I was in Lake Tahoe for Kelly and Christian's wedding. Kelly is one of my friends since middle school when my family moved to Walnut Creek, CA from Wilton, CT. There is a whole group of us (and I mean like 20 girls) who have stayed really close all through high school and college and even now that we're all done with school. It was a great weekend! Beautiful weather, lots of good friends around, and a really fun wedding complete with good food and dancing! The only thing that would have made it better would be if Ryan had been there with me. However, he had a GREAT reason not to come. His brother, Brandon, who has been fighting cancer this past year, got cleared to go to Newport Beach with his wife's family. So, Ryan got to spend some time with them at the beach on Saturday and Sunday.

Anyway, the reason this post starts out with "a dozen reasons why my husband is awesome" is because when I came home on Tuesday night, I found these beautiful red roses waiting for me with the cute note attached. If you can't read it, it says, "Hi Hunny, Welcome Home! Can't wait to see you! I love you! -Ry" Isn't that just so sweet?! It may have taken me 27 years to find him, but he is well worth it! Love you babe!
