It's your 1st Half Birthday!!! We can't believe it. We frequently have moments where we re-realize that we are parents. At 6 months old- you are getting busier and busier. You are officially in the "grabby" stage and want to reach out and touch everything. You especially like to touch faces! You are still mesmerized by hands and still like yours to be held. In your crib, you frequently roll over from your tummy to your back, play with your toes for a while, and then get frustrated at being stuck on your back and start shouting for someone to come rescue you. We're glad you can roll, but it has not helped your sleeping habits. In the past couple of weeks you started blowing bubbles and making some good consonant sounds. You are getting more coordinated everyday and like to take your binky in and out of your mouth. Sometimes, you even find it in your crib and are able to soothe yourself back to sleep which we always appreciate. One of my favorites is when you lunge forward and give me big kisses on my cheeks- Dad thinks you don't really know what you're doing, but I'm convinced you are fully aware of your sweet affections. Your biggest accomplishment this month is being able to sit up...toppley as you may be, you can definitely hold your own as long as you are interested in doing so. More and more we are seeing that while you are a very "chill" little guy, you have a lot of energy and definitely have your own agenda as to whether you want to be jumping, standing, laying on your tummy, etc. And now for our FAVORITE new development...you LAUGH!!! It is absolutely the best sound in the whole wide world. You first did it when I was shaking one of your toys and then throwing it down on your tummy. Now, you also laugh when we tickle you, when you get thrown up in the air (the higher the better), when I make faces at you, pick-a-boo, raspberries on your tummy, and we keep discovering more! Your 6 month stats are:
Height = 26 1/4"
Weight = 18 1/4 lbs.
Head Circumference = 16 1/2"

I can't believe he is already 6 months old!! P.S. Justin looks SO GROWN-UP in the picture below with his Daddy.
So fun! I LOVE the six-month milestone. Their little personalities come out more and more, they start eating real food, they start mastering skills right and left... it's just a fun stage.
He is so adorable, I really really want to squeeze and hold him! Hopefully one day we will leave my each other and then we can hang out and I can actually hold him and love him! Miss you guys! love, lish*
