This is a little bit delayed, and we have yet to go take his official 18 month photos, but I figured I would at least jot down some things about our little monster before any more time passes by.
Dear Justin,
At 18 months you are a continual ball of energy ever going with a huge grin, lots of giggles and big laughs, and lots of talking. You have a seriously impressive vocabulary for your age, and even more impressive is that you can actually understand what you're saying. We already know we're in trouble for when you start stringing sentences together...we're sure it will be non-stop talk. Lately you are a serious Daddy's boy. He is the sun, the moon, and the stars to you. If Dad is home, you are by his side and want to be doing whatever he is doing. You are without a doubt, his "little buddy." You are obsessed with trucks, and since the move, you can't wait for trash day so you can see the "trash truck." You are very observant, especially with your ears and often call out "moe moe" for lawn mower and "pane" for plane before anyone else has even heard them. You are very friendly and are not afraid to wander, or rather, run, away to go explore whatever is on your mind at the moment. You love to look at pictures, read books, dance, rough house, and climb. When we let you, you like to watch "moomies" on the TV which usually ends up being when Dad is home and wants to watch a sports game. You can often be seen carrying a ball around with you. You love "shooze!" Mom's, Dad's, or your own...it might be your favorite word too! At church, you like to point out all the pictures of "Jeeezush" on the walls and even remind us to say "payr" before we eat sometimes by shouting out the word and emphatically folding your arms. I could go on and on with all the things you do and say. To sum it up though, you are a big goof ball, and you make us laugh and smile everyday. I for one would be utterly bored without you. Love you lots!
