Halloween Festivities

For Halloween this year, we were a band of pirates. I LOVED my little pirate and his parrot. I thought they were so cute. The best part about this costume was the sayings that Justin would do while in costume such as, "Arrrr Matey!" and, "Walk the plank ya swabby!"

We took the kids to Bishop's Pumpkin Patch a couple weeks before Halloween to pick our pumpkins. It was so much fun. Justin LOVED the hay ride out to the big field, the train ride, the petting area with baby goats, the hay jumper....it was such a great outing for his age. As always, Garrett was a little angel and was along for the ride, happy as can be.

Justin LOVED trick or treating this year since he actually understood the concept. He was sad the day after Halloween when I had to explain that we couldn't go again until next year. My parents come up on Halloween and walked the neighborhood with us. Ryan even put on his whole pirate costume for trick-or-treating which made Justin love it that much more.
