JR's Room

Doing Justin's room was a lot of fun, but it was definitely a process. I have since re-done the book shelf, so it looks less cluttered. He isn't sleeping in here yet, but when I nurse at night that blue glider comes in handy!

I'm still waiting on some artwork that my sister is supposedly painting to go on the crib wall. Carly is an amazing artist, so I asked her to do 3 square canvas paintings that match the bedding and incorporate the ABC's and animals. We'll see if she comes through...I asked her basically when we found out I was prego. I am also still on the lookout for a rug of some sort. We'll see. It has to be just the right fit or it will make the room look over-done and small.

I picked out the fabric for the curtains, and my friend, Mo, sewed them for me with the detail ribbons at the top. It's the only room in the apartment with curtains and it makes such a difference. Thanks Mo! The little, white tuxedo jumpsuit hanging on the changing table is Justin's blessing outfit that my EXTREMELY gifted friend, Jennifer, sewed for him as a shower gift. It is absolutely darling and was so unexpected. (I'll do a close-up when he is wearing it!) Such a special gift. The wood board above the changing table was contributed my Leah- she picked the perfect color without even seeing the room. I'm so lucky to have talented friends!
