2 Months Old

Dear Justin,

Wow! Another month has flown by. You are getting so big. We went to the doctor this week for your 2 month check up and she was very pleased with your progress. Your stats:

Weight: 13 lbs 11 oz. (90%)
Height: 23" (50%)
Head Circumference: 15.25" (25%)

Apparently your proportions are a little bit off, but we're sure that they will even out! No matter what, you are absolutely darling and are quickly acquiring a number of rolls on your arms and thighs, not to mention a pretty round little tummy. You started smiling a couple of weeks ago, but now you smile all the time for me and Dad. Typically, if other people are around, you are not interested in performing. Rather, you're checking everything out around you. We have had little previews of your laugh, and from what we can tell, it's going to be a big belly one! You are very strong and hold your head up pretty well. When you have tummy time, you can push yourself completely up and turn your head from side to side with ease when you want to. You're just starting to reach out for objects, and you can track toys or people from side to side as well as up and down. You love your bouncer when the vibration mode is on, but you still prefer to be held or have someone sitting on the couch next to you. Everyday you seem to be able to do more and more, and we can tell that we truly need to treasure each day because they go by so fast. We love you so much.
