Those of you who are loyal blog readers of mine might remember a post I did this past winter when 2 of my college roommates came to visit, and we were all pregnant. Well, we've all got little babies now and had a 'complete' reunion with the 4th roommate, Laurel Walker, in Vegas. Even though we see each other fairly frequently, it was the first time in 5 years that all four of us had managed to get together. We had such a great time. Laurel left her 2 kids in UT with her parents for the weekend, so it was great to have one set of hands not holding a baby!
Justin (4 mo.) - Emmy (1 mo.) - Ryan (5 mo.)
Justin LOVED Nate, Lindsay's 3 year-old. And of course, Nate loved the instant gratification of Justin's huge smiles for him. Thanks for entertaining him Nate!
Wes, Lindsay's husband, was a very helpful Mr. Mom all weekend and took their toddler, Nate most of the time. He also managed to keep an eye on the babies while we lounged in the pool one morning. Thanks Wes!
It's pretty easy to get JR to smile, but a laugh is harder to come by. So- good job Wes for getting this out of him. It's the first giggle we've caught on film!
Since Vegas was basically a furnace while we were there, we were happiest in the pool. So, we got a sitter one afternoon to watch the babies inside while they were napping and we lounged around in the pool once again! What a treat it was to just relax with some of my very best friends in the world. Wes took toddler Nate to the movies, so it was very peaceful - thanks again Wes!
And what's a roommate reunion without eating out at lots of yummy places...so we did!
