Dear Justin,
10 months old...your 1st birthday is just around the corner. You will quickly learn that birthdays are VERY important to me, so we'll be sure to make a big deal about yours! You are all over the place and into everything. You like to be on the go with your "scooter." (Dad says that walkers are for old people, so we call it a scooter!) You get very frustrated when it bumps into things, which happens frequently since our apartment isn't very big. So, hopefully you learn how to turn it yourself soon so that I don't have to follow you around re-routing you! I have spotted you standing on your own a couple of times, so I think this next month you'll get that skill down no problem.
You talk ALL THE TIME! You are very loud and social. You light up at the sight of other kids and recently started waving "hi" and "bye." It is the cutest thing ever! You also do "Sooooo big!" and are very good at finding Mom and Dad whenever we ask you to. We can tell you get very proud of yourself and frequently check to make sure we're watching. You like to open and close things, especially your dresser drawers, and take out all of the clothes. You also discovered toilet paper and how to flush the toilet.
Sleeping continues to be a struggle. We initiated Operation Sleep Through the Night again this past week and had to let you "cry it out." I hated it. But, you did sleep through the next night, so hopefully we don't have to do it again. Usually you take 2 good naps a day, and I hope you keep that up.
On your 10 month birthday your top teeth FINALLY cut through. You are getting better at chewing your food and swallowing, and you're eating your veggies again. Phew! Although, you're kinda like a chipmunk...you like to stuff your mouth, and then you don't really know what to do with all the food you've put in there. You can even drink your water and still manage to have pieces of food stored in your cheeks. Your favorite food right now is Gerber Yogurt Melts.
You make us laugh all the time, and your laugh is still one of my favorite sounds in the whole world. You and I play all day long, and you are developing quite the sense of humor. We love you so much kiddo.
