"Wanna go for a drive, Mom?!"
(I love the crossed feet ;-)
"Yes Mother?"
Dear Justin,
All I can say is that I think you are so smart! At 11 months old, you seem to be responding and reacting to what we say more and more. You made your first animal noise on command and it is soooo cute! True to form it's not a little quiet cat sound or a nice little doggy bark, it is an all out boyish lion ROAR followed by mumblings in lion growls. We love it! You are also very good at finding the monkeys on your toys and your stuffed animal. You love to play the piano and look at books. Whenever you are somewhere that you know you shouldn't be, or are doing something you know you shouldn't do (like being in the kitchen or the bathroom or pulling on the fern leaves) you get into position to make mischief and then wait until you know I'm looking. After a test or two to see if I'm still going to say no, you stop and go along on your merry way. You LOVE to be chased, tossed, swung...any kind of rough housing will do. You are getting better at swallowing your food which is great news because I can't wait to not have to spoon feed you anymore. (You take FOR-EVER!) What else...you are a consistent napper twice a day and still sleeping a nice 11-12 hours at night. You are still such a love and snuggle with me all the time. One of my favorite things is that you give great big two-arm hugs and then look me right in the face to make sure I understood that you were loving me. Unfortunately, you've had a couple colds this past month which has been a bit rough, but you handle being sick like a champ, and no one would really even know you were under the weather except Mom and Dad. I've been thinking about your 1 year birthday and can't believe it! How did that year go so fast. You bring joy into our lives beyond measure kiddo. Love you lots!
