I need to post about Thanksgiving and our trip to New York, but before I forget I need to post about a couple of "mother moments" that have happened this week:
1. Justin was sick and threw up INTO the Christmas Tree. Yep! That was a fun one to clean up. Has that happened to anyone else? Never happened to my Mom, even with 5 kids. Leave it to my 1.
2. The other day, after I handed him something, Justin turned to me and said in the sweetest voice imaginable, "Thank you Mommy." Made me melt for sure. Today, again on his own, he said it to the cashier at Target after she put our bags in the cart. I was so proud!
3. We've been working on the please and thank you's for a little while now and most of the time he gets it, but today when he asked me for something and I told him to say please he nicely said, "Please don't Mommy." I guess I say "please don't" a little too often because he thought that those 2 words went together! Classic.
4. Yesterday we were at this clinic place where there were a bunch of other kids, and one little girl kept wanting the couple of toys that we brought. She was probably 3. Anyway, she grabbed one from him, and he looked at me and said, "Mies." (mine) I asked him to take turns, so he waited for a minute or so and then said to the girl, "turn peas." I then had to tell the girl to give it back, which she did, and Justin gave her his other toy. He then looked at me and said, "shur." (share) Do I not have the nicest, smartest little 20 month old ever?! I was honestly so impressed and just love my JR to pieces.
