October
was a bit of a crazy month. We moved to Roseville the first weekend,
and Ryan started work the following week. Amid unpacking and getting
settled in to our new place, we managed to do some fun "fall"
activities. Our favorite was going to Apple Hill. It's a collection of
orchards and farms about an hour from where we live and everyone said it
was a must. It didn't disappoint. We had a great time getting fresh
apple cider, feeding animals, and spending a day together as a family in
the sierra mountains.
For halloween this year, Justin was a duck and absolutely loved his costume. He never even tried to pull the hood off, and he loved looking at himself in the mirror. At the church trunk or treat event he discovered that the padded bum was extra fun to slide around on the gym floor! On Halloween Night, I took him trick or treating down our street. His favorite part was getting to ring all the doorbells. After a few houses, he started holding out his basket for the candy, but he didn't realize what he was getting until after we got home, and I let him try a few pieces. He particularly likes "choc-chot!"
Carving our pumpkin was really fun. Justin loved watching the carved pieces get popped out, but was not a fan of the guts. It was fun to see him explore what it was all about though.

I think Justin grew about 5 feet since we last saw him! It is killing me! We miss you guys so much. The boys talk about Justin a lot and ask when we will see him again. Tell Justin to stop growing so fast, we don't want to miss out on it all. :)
Looks like a great fall to me! Glad you're liking it up there.
