The other day Justin and I were in the car and after taking a few sips of his water, he started coughing. I asked him, "Are you ok back there?" to which he replied, "Wong pite!" in between coughs. Apparently he has heard me say, "It went down the 'wrong pipe'" at some point and added it to his list of phrases. The kid amazes me everyday!
I asked Justin, "Who loves you?" to which he quickly responded, "Maime!" My Mom will be so pleased!
In church every Sunday, as soon as he hears the organ he starts saying, "Lala, lala" and gets his hymn book ready. He has to have his own, and he makes sure to announce that the "ohden" {organ} is playing. After the hymn ends, he quickly folds his arms and tells you what's coming up, "payers." {prayers} This past Sunday, about the time the closing hymn was coming to a close he started saying, "Neesee, neesee." I thought for a minute trying to figure this new word out. Usually he is pretty clear. When he started saying it again after the closing prayer I realized what he was saying. He knew just where he was going next...nursery!
