Our landlord is pretty lucky to have renters like us. We have put countless hours into the yard even though the owners don't care about it at all. I wish we were the type of people who just didn't care, but with my own Mom as a certified Master Gardener, and Ryan's Dad being a big gardener also, neither Ryan or I can stand to just have it be ugly and overrun with weeds. In addition to just regular yard work, we MAJORLY weeded the 3 beds that were already there for veggies and planted them about 3 weeks ago. We can't wait to see how everything does!
| Step 1: weed (this was the one with the LEAST amount of weeds after we had done 1/2 of it!) |
| Step 2: Add fertilizer and better soil |
| Step 3: Shovel it all together |
| Step 4: Plant everything |
| The same view 3 weeks later! |
| Box 1: Varieties of Tomatoes |
| Box 2: Basil, Zucchini, Cucumber, Grn. Pepper, Rd. Pepper, Yellow Squash |
| Box 3: Cucumber, Grn. Beans, Tomato, Zucchini (Ryan's first garden trelis- we're looking forward to seeing the beans climb! hopefully it works.) | | | | |

| Also planted the flowers below the rose trees. Makes such a difference. |
