So Ryan has a co-resident in his program who is from Korea. She is a really sweet girl but her English isn't the best. Anyway, she came up to him yesterday after clinic and very sweetly asked, "Will you ride me?" Ryan, hardly being able to keep a straight face said, "You want me to give you a ride home?" Of course that's what she meant, so she affirmed his question. So he gives her a ride home and as she got out of the car, she very politely said, "Thank you for riding me." Thank goodness Ryan is better at holding it together than I am. I would have been cracking up. Instead, he just smiled and said you're welcome. You gotta love the language barrier sometimes! (You should all be so proud; I kept this story to just one paragraph! haha!)
