A Miracle

We received EXCELLENT news on Friday morning (drum roll please)......Ryan's brother, Brandon, is in complete, 100% full remission! For now, and hopefully for many years to come, he has won his fight against multiple myeloma cancer. He was first diagnosed last April, and at the time, could hardly walk, had lost about 40 pounds and 5 inches of height due to the destruction of the cancer on his bones. During the past 10 months, he has undergone 2 bone marrow transplants, multiple chemotherapy treatments, 2 kyphoplasty surgeries, and endured many other discomforts related to his treatment, all while finishing his MBA at Westminster College in Salt Lake. Now, he is walking, doing physical therapy multiple times a week, eating normally, and getting on with the rest of his life with his amazing wife, Katie, right by his side. The two of them have been such an incredible example of faith and endurance. To say that we are excited for them and this wonderful news is definitely an understatement. We are so grateful to our Heavenly Father and the miracle of healing that He has blessed Brandon with. Thank you to the many friends and family members who have kept this strong couple in their thoughts and prayers. The Lord hears and answers them!
