Since Ryan has been done with his thesis, our life has had a 180 degree spin around, and JR and I LOVE IT!!! Kinda sad to say, but I think the past 2 weekends are the first that we have spent here in LA since Justin was born where I have felt like I have a husband and Justin has a Dad who is really present both mentally and physically. True, there have been weekends or holidays where we've gone to visit family in UT or in Walnut Creek, but as far as being our own little family, it wasn't until just this past week or 2 that I've thought, "Oh- this is what being a family is like!" It has been awesome. Our first family beach day of the year!
