*Note: Justin says a hard "c" sound like a "t" and hard "g's" like a "d"
Me: Justin, do you think you can run in and return the CD to the library?
JR: Sure. Sure I tan. I'll just be back in one second.
JR: We are all trapped Mom. What are we doeing to do?
Me: I don't know! How will we get out?
JR: A dorrilla tan tum save us.
Me: Justin, are you ready to go?
JR: Yea, tum on babe. Let's DOE!
My parents were watching him for me, the three of them were outside eating drumsticks or something and no one was saying anything. Then Justin pipes up, "We should talk duys."
JR: Hi Darrett. Do you need anything?
JR talking in a high pitched voice in response, as if he is Garrett: Yes. Yes, I dooo. I need some lemonade.
Me: Look Justin, Garrett is smiling at us!
JR: He loves me.
JR: Tan I have some _______.
JR answering for me before I can say anything: Otay. Sure!
Putting Justin to bed the other night was quite a chore. He wasn't staying in his bed. After him coming out several times, Ryan finally said, "don't come out of your room." (Had it been me putting him to bed, this would have come much sooner!) But anyway, Ryan comes downstairs and not even a minute later we hear, "Dad. Daddy? DAAA-ddy." Ryan goes upstairs to see that Justin has opened the door just a crack and then says, "and here is my big toenail!" as he sticks his big toe out the door. Seriously!?! He just cracks us up.
Me: You are a real pain sometimes.
JR: Ya, I am.
JR: Mom, I need you to tum here right now.
Me: Ok, I'm coming, what do you need?
JR: I need you to tum here and sit on da touch with me right now for some blantey {blankey} time.
