We're Married!

This picture captivates the beginning of an eternity of fabulous moments and memories with my best friend in the whole world! So, we got married in the Oakland, CA temple on Sept. 27th, 2008. It was the best day of my life. (and I think his too!) It was jam packed from the moment I woke up until we settled into the California Suite at the SF Marriott overlooking Union Square. Despite the crazy schedule of the day, I don't think the smiles from our faces ever disappeared. We enjoyed every moment. The temple ceremony was so special, and we both felt a sincere blessing from God on our decision to get married. It was wonderful to have so many family and friends there throughout the day, in the temple, at the ring ceremony, and at the reception, to support us. People came from all over the country, literally. There were people from NY, CT, IL, WA, UT, NV, TX, AZ, OR, as well as from over the state of CA. We felt so loved, and we really appreciated the effort that so many made to be part of our day. Rick Chapman performed a lovely ring ceremony, after which we got the party started! Rob Moffat did a great job singing our first dance song, "The Way You Look Tonight" (as sung by Michael Buble) as well as the daddy/daughter dance, "I Loved Her First" and the jazz band was great. I loved seeing my 88 year old grandparents dance during the couple's dance. My cousin, Tad, aka DJ Pants Off, did a great job of keeping people on the dance floor after the band left. I had blisters almost our entire honeymoon from dancing so much at the reception. Not only was the day so much fun, but it looked beautiful. Thank you so much Mom and Dad for helping and enabling me to plan such a gorgeous reception. It truly was a vision that we will ALWAYS remember. So, now onto the next phase of life, the next big adventure....married life!
